Hi,
I’m Nadine.
I found my first real connection to yoga in a surf camp in Morocco — as a balancing practice after long surf sessions. I quickly felt how good yoga was for me and took new impulses home with me, both for myself and my everyday life. I began practicing at home almost daily, especially in the mornings, to start the day with clarity and intention.
But I continued to practice more intensely mostly while traveling — until my yoga teacher training last year. At the beginning of 2024, I spent a lot of time reflecting and realized I wasn’t satisfied and not truly centered. I made a professional cut, started my yoga training, and took a six-week surf and yoga road trip along the coasts of Spain and Portugal.
This time off — and the months of training — were truly special. Through regular and intensive practice, I quickly experienced how holistic yoga is. I didn’t just feel physical changes — something shifted inside as well, mentally and emotionally. I gained more awareness and mindfulness, more balance and self-confidence — I reconnected with myself.
Now, after completing my training, I love sharing my passion with other yogis and bringing it into my classes. For me, it’s always meaningful to create a space where you are allowed to simply be — where you can connect with your body and mind and find your balance.
I personally lean on the early morning and evening hours to gift myself time, even if it’s just ten minutes. It’s about tuning into my body and mind and asking: What do I need right here, right now?
This is how the idea for mellowibe came to my mind — time that belongs entirely to you.
